Philomena Lee is the woman who inspired Stephen Frears’ 2013 film Philomena, which was nominated for four Academy Awards. Starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan the film was based on the book The Lost Child of Philomena Lee by journalist Martin Sixsmith
